2008 Recital Info | Recital 2007 - "25 Years of Dance" Our annual recitals are held in June each year. Participation in the recital is optional; however, for most students, it is the highlight of the year. After a student has worked hard all year, it is a feeling of personal accomplishment to perform on stage beautifully costumed before family and friends. Student measurements have be taken during November and December and costume orders have been placed. Each class will have a costume for the recital. Please check with the office if you have a question about your costume fee or order. It is our policy that students with overdue balances will be unable to take home their costume. Once we place costume orders, students are responsible for any balance due. In addition, please check with your teacher to find out what tights, accessories and hairstyle they would like for the recital performance.

2008 Picture Days: W Sand Lake: Saturday, April 26 - Thursday, May 1 E Greenbush: Friday, May 2 - Thursday, May 8 Each year, class photos are taken at the studio during class time. There is no obligation to purchase these photos nor is there a sitting fee. Students have the option of having individual or small group photos taken, but please only use our photographer's time if you intend to purchase these photos. On Picture Day: Students should wear light make-up and have their hair neatly done. Please arrive in costume, as we have limited changing areas unless notified by your teacher. Parents will be allowed in the classroom at the discretion of the photographer. CAMERAS (of any kind) ARE PROHIBITED IN CLASSROOMS ON PICTURE DAY. Recital Tickets go on sale May 16th, 2008. Families who must attend more than one recital due to scheduling conflicts will receive two (2) complimentary tickets. Families with outstanding balances on their account will be unable to purchase tickets.

Adding to the complete theater experience, a recital program is prepared for our Recital. The program (which each ticket holder receives free of charge) lists each dance and every performer. It also contains bios of our graduating seniors, well wishes from parents and 5, 10 & 15 year student recognition. Within the program, advertising spaces are offered for sale, where local businesses (or parents) can wish the dancers well. We are no longer taking program book ad orders for this year.

Commemorative Recital 2008 T-shirts are now available for $20 through the Studio. Get an order form at the Office!

Our recital is professionally recorded by Golden Lamb Productions. In the past, they have offered a recital video in both VHS and DVD format. DVD chapters and menus make finding your dance a breeze! Videos and DVDs include a special introduction as well as song titles. Ask for an order form at the office. Videos and DVDs arrive within 6-8 weeks, usually the beginning of August.
