Pilatespilates

Pilates (pronounced puh-LAH-teez) focuses on improving flexibility, strength and balance for the overall body, but doesn't build bulk. This technique created by Joseph H. Pilates is more than just exercise--pilates workouts are a series of controlled movements to engage one's body and mind. Pilates workouts can be modified to adapt to individuals needs --challenging the advanced student and simplifying movements for beginners. Mat classes are offered in 8-week sessions and are taught by Shannon, our certified Pilates instructor.

Adult Tap

Next Beginner Class Offering: Fall 2010

Tap is low impact and doesn't require as much flexibility as other dance forms such as ballet or jazz, and people of all ages can enjoy it.
