The Isabelle School of Dance

In 1982, Barbara J. Hughes founded the Isabelle School of Dance in Schodack, New York. Over the past 28 years, we have expanded from a small one-room dance studio into two larger facilities with over 15 staff members!

With studios in East Greenbush and West Sand Lake, the Isabelle School of Dance has introduced the joy of dance to thousands of local children of all ages and has helped them build confidence and make memories for over two decades. Although we continue to grow, the basic philosophy Barbara began with has continued to this day:

We are a neighborhood dance school that promotes the appreciation and love of dance as an art form.

We offer creative movement classes for our youngest students and all levels of classes in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, modern, pilates and adult classes.

Learn to dance and have fun. Call us or stop by, bring your smile, and become a member of the Isabelle School of Dance family.
